Our 50-bed rehab center in Norton provides residential, day or partial care, medically monitored alcohol detox, family and continuing care
treatment services. Certified professional staff also do evaluations and assessments, relapse prevention, and outpatient counseling. Norton Valley Hope
is located on Highway 36 in Northwest Kansas and offers semi-private, motel-like living in a quiet and relaxed rural atmosphere for patients.
Norton Valley Hope was our first drug and alcohol treatment center and opened in August of 1967. Our treatment services are also accredited by the JCAHO.

Say hello to Steve Horney
Steve Horney has been learning about Recovery and Addictions for over twenty years, and joined the Valley Hope team early in 1996 as one of the
marketing team centered out of the facility here in Norton, Kansas. He most recently has helped Valley Hope morph marketing positions into
clinical positions, as all of the in-patient centers have a "Community Resource Clinician." Steve has achieved the level of CADCII certification and
hopefully will become licensed as an LAC as our state is approaching the change to licensure.
Steve is married to Beth and they have dogs and cats instead of children. Steve says there is not enough duct tape for kids. They both enjoy water
sports of all types and snow skiing in the winter. He loves traveling, and photography. If you have questions about our treatment program, or
