Our outpatient center in Kansas City is located on the Kansas side of the river in the suburb of Mission. The facility is located at 5410 West 58th Terrace and is easily accessible from across the Kansas City Metro area. Mission Valley Hope opened its doors in 1971 as the second Valley Hope facility. We provide the intensive outpatient option Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The sessions continue for six weeks and include group therapy, family counseling, educational lectures and films and 12 Step program work. Participants can receive individual counseling on an as needed basis and are eligible for one year of continuing care services.
Mission also offers traditional outpatient, individual and group counseling, relapse prevention, assessment/evaluation services and continuing care. Office hours are from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Treatment services are covered by most insurance and managed care plans.
