Say hello to Harold Willis
Harold has been with the Valley Hope Texas continuum almost since it opened in 2001. He initially
started as a counselor intern in September of 2001, and has been a Licensed Chemical Dependency
Counselor in the State of Texas since 2002. During his employment at the Grapevine facility he
has held several positions to include counselor, admissions coordinator, and most recently Program
Director for Outpatient Services. Prior to moving to Texas in 2001, Harold had worked in the chemical
dependency field since 1994 in upstate New York. His view on his position of Community Relations
Clinician is that there is a need not only to help the individual suffering with addiction/substance
abuse but to help the community at large with this issue.
His dedication to helping individuals and families affected by addiction/substance abuse, and all
of the related issues equals his enthusiasm for the work he does in this field. The prospect of
individuals recovering from addiction/substance abuse, and the subsequent positive rippling effects
in the community, continues to fuel his energy for this work. Service to individuals affected by
substance abuse and addiction as well as the community at large is of the highest priority to Harold.
Please contact him with questions about addiciton, treatment or the Valley Hope program at
817-424-1305 or via email at hwillis@valleyhope.org.
