Who We Are
The Valley Hope Association is a nationally recognized, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality alcohol and drug addiction treatment services at an affordable price. We started in a leased building on the campus of a state hospital in Norton, KS in August, 1967. Valley Hope now operates treatment facilities in seven states-- Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas.
We encourage family participation because they have been affected and need help too. Our hope is to educate and offer a treatment experience focused on healing as a family. We have helped thousands of people (and their family members) find recovery and a new way of life.
We offer a variety of treatment services, including medically monitored detox, residential, day/partial, outpatient and continuing care. Our quality treatment services are comprehensive and offered at a reasonable cost. We’ll find the right combination to provide the best treatment for each individual. Our admissions coordinators are available to provide information and answer questions.
We offer a proven treatment program with the focus on individual recovery. All of our residential and outpatient centers are JCAHO accredited and/or state licensed/certified. Professional staff direct an individualized treatment plan grounded in 12-step philosophy with a strong emphasis on family participation, spirituality (nondenominational), and continuing care placement. Rates for our services are affordable enough that many individuals choose to pay for their own treatment. Our services are recognized and accepted by most insurance companies and managed care organizations.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to provide a quality continuum of comprehensive treatment and related services, in a caring atmosphere and at a reasonable price, for all people experiencing problems with alcohol or other drug use.
The purpose of providing those services is to improve the quality of life of those receiving services as measured by abstinence from alcohol and other substances, as well as by increased life satisfaction, improved family relationships, marital stability, job and career performance and financial stability. This Mission may be pursued in any geographic location, limited only by need and Valley Hope’s ability to respond to that need.
Road to Recovery
We know treatment works. People can recover from their addiction to alcohol or other drugs given the opportunity to participate in a professional treatment setting. We have helped thousands of people and their families since 1967.
